Any one encountered frame rust on 1987 Integra where the front rod supports are mounted? Any ideas on repair? the car is in great condition other than that.

Fortunately i've not had any problems with rust on my car, but I think we all know how much it sucks.
Rust, its like cancer. The best way to get rid of it is to cut it out. If possible cut off the rusted part and weld in new or rust free metal. Or just replace the part it self. That is the best way to make sure you got it, although it is not the easiest.

You can always try sanding the rust away and then painting it.
