Acura Legend '89 CAR IDLE problems

For some reason, while my car idle's for a few mins. it sounds like the car is about to die.

RPM gage goes way below 1, my lights start to dim. any1 have any solutions???

oh yah, while this problem occures, i turn off my car, the car wont turn off, like the battery has had a total battery drain.

It could be your altenator has stopped working. You may want to check that first.

I have and also replaced that alternator with a new one.

I took the fuse out from the fuse box for the radio, so far everything is gooin good, i can turn off my car and start it again with out any problems, but one problem, my RPM is still ideling way too low. any suggestions for that?
