I just had my timing belt replaced 2000 miles ago. but for about an year the car has not put a lot of mileage on it due to problems i had with DMV and sorts.

Recently i jump started the car and it ran for about 5 minutes after which it just choked out. i thought it might be battery so i put a new battery in but now the car refuses to start. It cranks but no start. Could it be that the timing belt broke because the car wasnt moved for a long time or another much cheaper reason.

thanx

Its very unlikely to be your timing belt... might be your starter or fuel pump. Most likely your fuel filter is clogged.
