Hey, I have a 90 Legend that flickers the dash lights and the clock after I turn it off. There is also a clicking sound coming from under the hood, like some kind of relay, and the shifter makes a clunking sound every time the clicking under the hood happens. Every night I got to take off one of the battery terminals so that the battery won't get drained. The biggest pain about it is that it only happens after it rains and lasts for a few days, and the few times I have taken it in to be looked at the damn thing stops, so the mechanic can't tell me what it is. Any ideas??

There was an old remote starter and an old alarm when I bought the car last year, but I had everything disarmed and taken out, and it still gives me the problem.
