Replace the ignition switch in the steering console. you can do this yourself. part costs around 80 USD. It's the part in behind the key itself.

sounds like a MAIN RELAY issue to me. ask honda to give you a MAIN RELAY and try swapping it out. there are a few posts in here on "intermittent stalling" that may be of some assistance.

Just remember this... Hondas are notorious , at least here in Canada, there was a recall on the 96 preludes for this issue... if your car stalls intermittently.. CHECK THE IGNITION SW ... |
