No I havent hit any curbs, THe mechanic really thinks that it is a ball bearing and just finding the right one? I know nothing about cars and this is just a little frustrating.

My Acura 3.5 RL (1997) will not drive over 45 mph, it starts to shimmy and shake. Had the axle replaced, wasn't that. The cv joint, wasn't that. New tires and alignment wasnt that. it drives fine ...
